Dr. Jerry Robben graduated from NOVA Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2009. He is currently the Chief Optometrist and Director of Clinical Research at Bowden Eye & Associates in Jacksonville, FL, which is an OD/MD primary care practice specializing in cornea, anterior segment, glaucoma, and dry eye disease. Dr. Robben is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Midwestern University, College of Optometry in Glendale, AZ, and Chicago, IL. He serves as a founding member and contributor to Dry Eye University and is a founding member of the Medical Advisory Board and is the current Clinical Director for Dry Eye Access. Dr. Robben has served on multiple industry advisory boards, lectures nationally, and currently oversees multiple research studies in his practice ranging from dry eye, neurotrophic disease, presbyopia medications, glaucoma, contact lenses, and surgical outcomes. He is on the editorial board for the Journal Of Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease. Dr. Robben is a loving husband and proud father of two young boys who both play baseball and excel in karate, which occupies any of his time outside of his professional career.
Michelle Schnabel brings a wealth of Dry Eye expertise and extensive ophthalmic knowledge, with over 30 years in the industry. She has a strong clinical background, having received her Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist professional advanced level designation prior to expanding her career into developing and implementing innovative strategies and solutions for ECPs. Michelle is an influential leader recognized for her award-winning excellence and has a consecutive track record of success. She is the Executive Director of Clinical Implementation Excellence for Dry Eye Partners and the President/Owner of Dry Eye Support Consultants.
During the last 14 years of her career, she has focused her passion and expertise as an Ocular Surface Disease Specialist/Consultant. She has successfully launched and implemented hundreds of new dry eye specialty practices and consulted with hundreds of established dry eye clinics across the U.S., educating and training on identifying, diagnosing, treating, and managing OSD for the practices’ clinical and financial success. She provides practices with all the necessary implementation materials, training, and a proven recipe for success.
